Pirate restrictions have been lifted and Promenade is now open to sit back on.
From the standpoint of destinations, the ports we stopped India is a land of excesses. Compared to "the West", it is more crowded, more colorful, noisier, has more flavorful food, smellier –in short, the antonym of sensory deprivation. It is a place of both abject poverty and conspicuous consumption beyond a Westerner's wildest dreams on both sides of the spectrum. We found it as exciting as watching a series of "coming attraction" trailers in the movies all strung together. It is a country where one can test one's skills at bargaining for fun and profit. We love Incredible India.
Thanks for reading and coming along with us.
