Day 82. March 25, 2016 PART 1 Traveling to Hanoi Vietnam for a SPECIAL EVENT
Hanoi, Vietnam's small elegant capital, lies on the banks of the Red River and offers a wealth of historical and spiritual sights to explore. Founded in 1010, modern day Hanoi is a city of contracts, with European-looking gardens, compact neighborhoods of narrow "tube-houses" and French inspired architecture all collaborating to give Hanoi a noticeable charm. On our overnight excursion we got the chance to discover this amazing city, and recognize its political and historical importance. Today we tendered from our ship to the port of Ha Long Bay. It was 4:30 by the time we all arrived and once our bus got going. We drove thur peaceful countryside catching a glimpse of everyday rural life.
