Day 68 March 11, 2016. En route to Penang Malaysia on the Indian Ocean Passage

Well I could of used a little more sleep this morning for some reason 6 hours just flew bye.  We had a amazing time in Myanmar, and Bagan breathtaking Pagoda's, and Temple's.  The unique reclining Buddha, but most of all - our everlasting memory will be the night tour of Schwedagon.......Breathtaking!

We had an hour time change last night and having another half hour tonight.  We had a beautiful memorial service for Don that passed on Feb 22 when we were in Dar Es Saalam.  They taped the service and will be sent to Betsy in Florida.

This is Don and Betsy. We had 3 independent tours with them.  Wonderful people.  So this morning was a nice way to say goodbye to a new friend, and a fellow guest of the 180 day around the world.
At noon we skipped lunch and went up to play BINGO in the Horizons.  Big money being given away for the Jackpot which is 59 balls or fewer for over $1400. It did not go so tomorrow is the day we are going to win.
We didn't do lunch because we have a "Gala Tea " in the Insignia Lounge, at 4 pm.  We haven't gain any weight yet at all.  Not even a pound....so we are both happy on that note.
Getting pretty tired already hopefully I can see the show at 9:15.  Last night show was do good.  Forgot my camera too.  Will have to remember it if he comes back on.  A Scottish flutest.  So so good.

So you see where Bangkok is?  That's where the ship is the arrow.  Heading for the 2 green dots in Malaysia.  Penang and K.L.(Kuala Lumpur). Then onto Singapore for a new segment.  We are meeting Carol Ann and Storm friends from Ottawa that we met on our first world in 2012.  We will do lunch with them.  They are on the HOLLAND AMERICAN "ms Amsterdam ". Maybe see a few more people.  Ann and Cathy Scott the sisters from our home town are also on the ship they boarded in Hong Kong but they may be on a overland trip.  We know lots of people from the Amsterdam ship so we might just hang out for awhile and see some dear friends.

Thanks for coming along on our great journey.....here's a thought for you.....
