Early morning breakfast and loaded on the bus to go visit the Grenfell Properties in St Anthony. Went thur a museum that was filled with artifacts from the late William Grenville Estate. Also made a quick stop to see the Grenville Hospital Mural and his home. He was a person that dedicated his life to improving the lives of north Sea fisherman. In the afternoon we boarded our 2nd ferry for a short crossing through the Strait of Belle Isle to Labrador. We grabbed a sandwich to share for lunch. Labrador is known for a world of towering mountains, massive rock faces, huge lakes and rivers that run forever. Here is where the air is clear, the water is clean and pure and the people equally unspoiled. Dinner is included tonight with our choice of salmon. It was yummy
What a great day. Bobs back is definitely getting better. Getting a good work out getting off and on the bus so much during the day. Tomorrow is Red Bay then back on the ferry to Cow Head.
