After a very nice evening with a great view of Sydney and the famous Violin we awoke to a little drizzle so decided to go downstairs and have some breakfast. Lovely bacon and cooked perfect. After breakfast we claim our bags to make sure they got on the bus. Then we traveled maybe 20 minutes to North Sydney and waited about an hour before we boarded the ferry
From the deck of the ferry to the miles of rolling hills and mountains, the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean is your constant companion as we make our way to Port aux Basques. Our ferry crossing departure time is at 12:15 .The ferry is huge and anything that could be hauled on land is put on trucks and hauled on the ferry. So say goodbye to Sydney and hello to Newfoundland. After 6 hour ferry ride we arrive at our hotel St Christopher’s and dinner is included. Fish and chips for us. Then a good message for Bob.
