We had such a good visit last night with Nancy & Don and nice to catch up with them. We both were in bed by 9 pm last night watching the Olympics until we fell asleep. This morning breakfast they had a area which was Huge and you picked out what you wanted to eat. After breakfast we boarded the bus and drove to the downtown of Charlottetown to pick up our guide. He was very knowledgeable but found that he really liked to talk.
A lot of history he told us but I can never retain it. We saw a lot of some of the old buildings around the down town core. After the 2 hour tour we were dropped of near the waterfront for lunch and a bit of shopping. We didn’t need any lunch so we sat in the park in the shade and listen to a man playing Jimmy Buffet songs. Bobs back is getting pretty sore so I will be giving him a good message tonight. We were picked up at 1:00 for our trip to the middle of the island. We stopped at a Famous Preserved place with lovely gardens. I chatted to Nancy and they wanted us to met them Sox I told them we would be there in 45 minutes. They met us there we took a great picture with them and a few of the gardens.
