Well we are now into our 5th segment of this amazing journey. So now we have traveled a total of 22,171 nautical miles. Just so amazing everything we are experiencing.
On this 36 day segment it starts today in Shanghai and ends in Sydney Australia. We will go north for awhile and go to Beijing, Japan Then head south again to Manila, Borneo, Bali, Komodo, Then into Australia with Darwin, Cooktown, Cairns, Townsville, Newcastle, then into Sydney.
We have a lot planned on this segment and there are 15 sea days on this segment......Yipee we love our sea days.
This last segment there were not many sea days at all. Boy can you feel it in you legs, knees, and back. We have done a lot of walking as well. So our weight is pretty much staying the same. I think I was retaining some water 3 lbs and that is gone already. Bob is pleased with his weight as well. We really have walked lots on this trip and our fitbits are always telling us before we hit noon that we have reached our goal of 15,000.
So this morning we jumped on the subway with our pass In our hands and went out to the International Airport to take the Meglev train
Fir a 8 minute ride that travels up to 431 km an hour. This costs us only 8.00 and the ship wanted 159.00. What a mark up only difference was we took the subway and they would of busses them there.
Yes pretty slick...
Within 3 minutes we were at top speed of 431 km with a very smooth ride.
