Kuching is the perfect gateway to Sarawak, and not just because it's the state's oldest, largest city. This is simply one of Malaysia's most charming and laid back cities, reveling in a picturesque setting on the Sarawak River, with the Mt. Santubong looming on the western horizon.
Today for us it was all about the Orangutans. We left the ship right at 8:15 and we boarded our tour bus along with 22 other people. The Semenggoh Wildlife Center is 34 km or 21 miles NW of the cruise pier. When we arrived we boarded smaller busses to go into the jungle where the feeding is taking place starting at 9:00am. We got in at 9:20 and we only had till 10:00 am to view them in there natural habitat. Our pictures will tell our day
It truly was a wonderful day. We have 2 SEA DAY's before we get to Beautiful Bali. A lot happening in Bali. We have a special event for dinner in Bali. The second day our friend Made is touring us around.
So thanks for coming along with us.
