Day 122 May 4, 2016 ~ Docked at Cairns, Australia on the Far East Traveler

Having visited Cairns in 2012 and 2013, we had done the  must-dos at this tropical city of 150,000--snorkel off the Great Barrier Reef.  So today traveled on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to and the Kuranda Scenic Railway from the artist colony of Kuranda that was discovered by the hippies in the 1960s and 1970s who started the Kuranda Markets. We really did not make up our minds of what to do in this scenic city until 4 days of our arrival.  We loved our day.  Went up by cable car on top of the canopy of trees.  It was a beautiful day to do this.  Some pictures of our day

never have seen round digeriedo.  Sound the same.
  Fruit bats...

Fruit Bats  yep all over and come out at dusk, These were from our arrival last night.
We had a great day.  Bonus was last night
A free lagoon due to croc's in the waters that is open till 9:00pm
So off to Townsville.  Thanks for joining us  Leslee & Bob
