Still a rainy morning as we approach Natal. There are birds-flying beside the ship this morning. We are docking at noon and today all aboard is 4:30, for a 5 pm departure.
Our plans today were to go and see some kids learning the dancing of the martial arts. We were going to do this with Cruise Critic people aka CC but we feel not enought time is allowed for this and don't want to miss the ship.
Although the if we had to miss the ship anywhere I would rather miss it here than anywhere else. It's only 157 miles to our next port Recife...
So Natal is the capital and the largest city in the Grande do Norte state, and located in the Northeast.
A lot of tourist attraction here and it's famous for its natural beauty. Sand dunes, crystalline waters of Maracajau and the latest cashew tree in the world.
So today we need to get our tenny shoes on and walk around this place.
Not to much to see in this area where we are docked industrial area.
We took the shuttle to where they drop you off straight up hill and about a 10 minute ride. We laughed because they dropped us at a government handicraft market. Kinda like yesterday.
Bob bought me 2 shell necklaces. Very Bonita
This is the market
It tells a story
Bob making a new friend
All the fishing boats
At 4:30 having high tea no lunch once again so we did this as we are sailing away.
Notice the white gloves....
As we left right on time the Captain blew the horn for the fist time in 19 days.
Dinner was at 7pm and I had the Sea Bass again. Loved every bite. Bob had the Dorado and I had a bite of his delicious as well.
Tonight we watched a Master Gaucho and his lovely wife. They were amazing.
It is a very small stage. But they did a great job.
Tomorrow we are in our last port in Brazil. Recife named for the costal reefs. Sure hope the weather will be better......Nighty night
