This morning was a tad chilly. Snow was seen up in the mountains. A long way away. The shuttle this morning dropped us off at the musical Sea Organ. Which is the world's first musical pipe organ that is played by the sea. Simple but elegant steps are carved in white stone, and were built on the quayside. Underneath there are 35 musically tuned tubes with whistle openings on the sidewalk. The movement of the sea pushes air through and depending on the size of the waves or tides musical chords are played. The waves create random harmonic sounds. We walked along the sea wall then inside the Old Town. It has Roman ruins, medieval churches and lots of museums. Massive 16th century fortifications still shield the city on the landward side with high walls running along the harbour.
