Day 41. February 13, 2016 Docked at East London, South Africa on the Indian Ocean Passage

Still warm and humid.  East London sits between the Buffalo and the Nahoon rivers on the south eastern coast of South Africa, about 1,000km east of Cape Town.  The city boasts a diverse economic base, with motor vehicle and component manufacturing of primary importance, followed by industrial and agricultural activities.
Nick named "Sunshine coast" or the "Wild Coast".
The East London Museum contains the world's only surviving egg of the extinct Dodo bird, as well as a mounted coelacanth ( which is a fish thought to be extinct since prehistoric times) caught near East London back in 1938.

So today was a waste the free shuttle took us out to the largest mall in the city about 10 miles out.  We found out that the museum was closed on Saturday's so we went to the mall. Walked around 2 hours then got restless to see the d section called Buffalo city.  Ask the shuttle driver on the way back if he could drop us off before the hill going down to the Harbour .

On the drive to the mall.

Nice mall called Hemingway very large.

Another bottle of wine and she wanted our picture.  So I said yes but we must have yours.  She gave us free chocolate for Valentines Day.  Bob is happy and I got my wine

Thanks for coming along with us.  Tomorrow we are in Durban and on tour.  Chow for now
