Day 1 July 12, 2014 Boston U.S.A. 5pm the Veendam Departs the Boston Harbour

Some more of what we saw in a very short time.

A site of a bar that was the inspiration for the popular old TV sitcom known as "Cheers".  From the street it looked just like the picture shown in the introduction to the TV show.

Cheers.... Where everyone knows your name....

Randy this is for you.
Fenway Park is a baseball park near Kenmore Square in Boston, Massachusetts. Located at 4 Yawkey Way, it has served as the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball club since it opened in 1912 and is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium currently in use. It is one of two “classic” Major League ballparks still in use, the other being Chicago’s Wrigley Field and it is considered to be one of the best-known sports venues in the United States.

Not much time to post, but here are a few photos of our adventures on early this  morning. The Fenway Park tour was fantastic. To be able to visit the dugouts, the Green Monster, walk on the field and sit in the Press Box in the oldest stadium in the country was a great experience.
We boarded "ms Veendam" around 1pm and they said our room was ready so we dropped off our carry on bags and went to look for Storm and Carol Anne and Marilyn and Harry.  Its so nice to know people when you get on a cruise.  Kinda like family ....Our wonderful crew friends Christian and Diana are on the
  "ms Eurodam"
                                    We miss you guys lots.

Leaving the Harbour of Boston
