Well this morning we were up and in the Horizon's by 6:30. The sail in to San Diego is certainly one to be proud of. We were escorted by a Naval War Ship all the way in to our berth. Pretty cool. All around us are Battleships and the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier. There is a wonderful Maritime Museum here as well. We were off the ship by 8:00am once cleared and we walked the boardwalk along the harbour. We came across lots of amazing picture ops.
Here is a famous one. Oh sure lets try. We didn't get it exactly right but you get the picture.
After our morning walk because things didn't open till 9:00am (we are always always early). Sometime it's a good thing and sometimes you miss a lot. Today we only had till 3:30 all aboard. Sailing at 4:00pm and onto Baja California, then onto Mexico.
When you walk around this beautiful harbour you really feel the pride of every American here. Something about this city. Maybe because of its Naval Base, the Old Town, Lindbergh Airport, etc. Just a beautiful city.

Up in Balboa Park. It really was a great day here. Weather was perfect as well. Lots of boats coming and going on the water. Today we saw Coronado, and the famous Hotel, Balboa Park, Little Italy, the Gaslamp quarter, Old Town of San Diego, Seaport Village.
We need a Sea day tomorrow....yep it's a sea day. It will be busy as well. There are 420 new faces as of yesterday.
