Day 159 June 9, 2016 Docked at Nawilliwilli, Kauai U.S.A. on the Polynesian Treasures

New port for us never have been here before.  It is the oldest of the 8 major Hawaiian Islands, with volcanic rock dating back more than 5 million years.  Wow that is old.  But this island still has its beauty.  It has lush rain forest in the North and valleys to majestic mountains and long stretches of white sand.  As we sailed in this morning you could see lots of Whales.  Try to get a good pictures is very hard.

Missed it.  Damn....
Today was a unplanned day and we really didn't know what we were going to do.  Rent a car we were told was the best way to see the island.  We only had till 3:00 to see this island so we decided to walk over to the Marriotte Hotel.  It was stunning the beach was beautiful and so were the grounds of the hotel.  After seeing the Koi fish get feed we decided to walk around and shop at the little cove of stores.  After that we went back to the ship and caught the Free K-mart shuttle and explore that area. Guess what we found a COSTCO.....good old Hot dogs and a pepsi.  Yummy in the tummy.  That made our day.  Funny how something so plain as a Costco Hot dog can make your day.  We decided to go into and see what a new camera would cost.   Well it was our lucky day Bob got a new underwater camera for a lot less than what he paid for 2 years ago and its a newer model.  So he was a happy camper.  We returned to the ship around 2:30 and I went up to get some sun and watch the sail away.  Weather was turning into a little rain.  But look what we saw

So now we have 5 Sea Days as we cross the Pacific and onto California. The plan was to see Jori but that is not going to happen.  She is in San Fran.  So changes of plans.
We thank everyone of you that wished us a Happy 31st Anniversary.  We had a great day from the morning that we renewed our vows on the beach in Maui  to our Dinner party in the MDR.  Then there was dancing under the stars last night as they had a Deck Party.  So much fun.
