Tonight is the Big Event in Ephesus that promises to be grand and elegant. Weather has dropped by many degrees. So we really need to bundle up. Ephesus is about 20 minutes from Kusadasi where we are docked. They will be a shuttle to take us there. Upon our arrival there will be Hors d oeuvres and drinks. I am so excited for this. I know that Elton John and Sting and Diana Ross have played at the Great Theatre. Now no horns or drums or large bands and not allowed to play concerts in here due to the aging of the stone and the detiration that is happening from the vibrations of the music. Around 8:00 we can get our seats for a great unforgettable performance by the Folkloric Dancers and the Aegean orchestra (stings only).
Today we walk all around the town up the hills and got out of the tourist area. We found a local market up on a hill top and it was fun mingling with the locals. Never saw anyone from the ship there. Bob bought me 8 all different scarves to add to my collection. What a wonderful husband. He really is. We are under 4 weeks now and really not ready to get off the ship.
