Wow a night to remember. What a memory this will be for us. To be sitting in the Grand Theatre in Ephesus and sitting center front first row, that who knows who had been sitting there 2400 years ago watching some other performance. We arrived almost as the sun was going down and as it went down there was a color of pink that glowed on the stone of the theatre. It truly was a magical moment...Then all these tea lights and other lights that had been placed in specific places came on to make the stones come alive. It was a wow moment for me on this 2015 World Cruise. The Folkloric Dancers and the Aegean Chamber Orchestra were wonderful.( not my type of music) but I enjoyed it to the fullest. It had been 10 years since a concert had been there. Singers and Entertainers like Elton John, Diana Ross, and Kenny G. They cant do any more of thoses type of concerts now aadays because of the vibration of the music was destroying the walls and the Grand Theatre. What was disappointing to me was to watch the handicapped people that did not know there boundaries climb down these stone steps without hand rails in the middle of the show and then have the nerve to complain about it later. They just didn't get it......
I don't know how they will ever match this next year. I just get goosebumps again just writing this up. Around 11 pm we boarded the ship again to have ALL THE DINNING STAFF that stayed onboard that didn't get to go and had to work greet us in the entrance way with both sides full and some 2 deep telling us WELCOME HOME. Madam Leslee Sir Bob welcome back. Yes that is above and beyond. I know it's a job but it touches my heart.
