Well this segment is 21 days from Sydney to Tahiti in the French Polynesia. Also we cross the International Date Line on May 22 so we get to have that day 2 times. Hard to believe that we only have 50 days left on this cruise. It has been a wonderful journey but for now we are focusing on New Zealand and the upcoming islands and her people.
Tonight is another Captain's Cocktail Celebration party. Every start of a new segment we have one to welcome the new people. We also have 9 sea days this segment. We are skipping Hobart Tasmania because of severe weather, so they are adding Wellington instead. Nice bonus. We have already been in contact with Bob's nephew Kyle Lunman and his wife Kristen to pay a visit too. Can't wait to see them, they have lived in New Zealand for a few years now and love it. It will be nice to see them again.
Today the weather was nice outside but a bit cold to wear a bathing suit so we did the lecture which was about "Maori Faces and Fabric's". It was good and about the story of the tattoos in the Polynesian Islands and how they tell stories. Here are few more pictures of Sydney Australia.
