August 21 2023 ~ Calgary Alberta Sightseeing 🏔️🏔️🚍🚍🚍

Today after another wonderful breakfast at the Delta Calgary downtown we had a 3 hour city tour by a great local named Chad.  After we saw a lot of Calgary we went to Heritage Village park. Today we got to see how the West was, a long time ago.  We spent the day at Canada’s largest living history museum. This 127 acre property goes back into time when life was completely different.

Calgary Tower built in 1967 and finished in June of 1968.  Total cost 3.5 million .  In 1987 a natural gas-fired cauldron was installed on the top of the tower to serve as a official Olympic Flame during the 1988 Winter games.
