2019 October 5th ~ A little bump in the road

Well a lot has changed since September and we had to
Yes we had to cancel our winter in Portugal.  Both of us were looking so forward to a nice change but
As we all know things happen in a split of a second.  Oct 5 2019 10:43 that date will always be a reminder to me that life is priceless and you always need to tell the people in your life that you love them.  On that date on that morning Bob and I walked to the Gananoque Inn (less than a kilometre from our condo) where we sat down to listen to a talk about the water levels in the St Lawrence. As I was talking to him I looked over at him and his head was moving back into his shoulders and he was foaming at the mouth.  I jumped up and screamed someone call 911.  Within seconds someone was there trying to help me lay him on the floor to proceed with CPR.  Yes I do know it and was trying to start the procedure but 3 other men came up and started to do it for me.  They had much more power than me.  He was starting to turn gray and I starting shaking so bad that I was trying to call 911 and seemed like it was talking forever,  Got them and they were on there way.  Anyway long story short Bob came back to me and now has a defibrillator inserted into his chest.  He is alive today because of these 3 men who rotated giving him CPR.  So that's our story.  Due to Insurance Canada wants us to be here over the winter.
We are okay with this for sure.  We have alot to be thankful for.  Bob even got the chance to hold his Great Granddaughter Ava in late October.
We have gone for many road trips (day trips) and will be planning out our summer.  We have recently put down a deposit for 196-Day Oceania ATW cruise that starts in January of 2022.    It is a reunion cruise of our 2016 ATW cruise.  So alot coming up.  Stayed turned.

Love you all
Leslee & Bob
