Day 20 ~ January 24-25 Papette French Polyneisa

We arrived here around noon and we have been to this beautiful island before.  We always have 2 days here.  Because they stock up on things.  It is very humid so that why its so beautiful.  This island has a name of the "Island of Love"  Tahiti is the largest island in the French Polynesia and is home to the capital city of Papette which serves as a gateway for almost all the French Polynesia vacationers.  There is a lot to do on this island from water sports to complex off road 4x4 system.  Lots of interior hiking trails to climb.  Climbs are steep but provide amazing views.  Tonight there is a Polynesia bar-b-que on the lido deck which are always fun.  As well the parking lotof the port comes alive with all these food venders.  Vendors set up at dusk and the families come and enjoy all the different kinds of food.  From Lamb on a spit to crepes for dessert.
