Day 2 ~ July 13, 2014 Day at Sea

We have never been on this ship of HAL's.  The  " ms Veendam"  here are a few pictures of her

           This is our room.  But they will have the beds together.

                      
                              This is the Culinary Room where they have hands on cooking which is lots of fun.

           This is the Explorations Café Lounge  Great coffee and Cappachinnos. 

This is the Lido pool and the roof will probably be closed a lot. This is a cooler cruise than we usually do

We spend a lot of time up here Deck 13  views are amazing and relaxing place to watch the world go bye

And of coarse the Dinning room.  Eat here every night.  Yes Bob does wear long pants in here.....

Show Room is a nightly thing that we do.

Where is the Gym?????  There is one. I know ... Yes we will be doing the gym a lot. 

 

Tonight is the first of 6 formals on this cruise.  They are also having the Captains Welcome Toast tonight just before dinner.  They are always fun to go to free drinks and you get to met the Wonderful staff.  Oh yes of coarse the driver of this ship as well. 

Following dinner I set up our internet and then we set off for tonight’s show. It was a neat introduction to the various entertainers on the ship and where and when they may be found. It was a short 30 minute show, which was good since we are all tired from a long day. Clocks go ahead 1 hour tonight. Unfortunately we lose another hour tomorrow night…
