Immunizations
Armed with my little yellow card (International Certificates of Vaccination as approved by The World Health Organization), I visited my new physician and asked him if my immunizations were up to date since I would be traveling worldwide again this year. He replied by saying that he didn't do that and referring me to a travel doctor. So on Wednesday I have a appointment with Susan at the Health Unit in Gananoque... She will look at the itinerary and decide from there what shots or pills will protect us.
I have been looking up a lot on the Internet and it is saying that yellow fever vaccination must be within 10 years. Ours expired around the end of 1995. So we need to get that shot updated as well as a shingle shot. I wonder if we need to get the Hep A and Hep B. Never have before but might be a wise choice. What about Typhoid??? I am sure we will need malaria tablets when we visit Mozambique. Will we need TB vaccinations???? So much to ask her.
Passports
Passport are both 10 year and are up to date. I needed a new one for mine expires on July 2015 and since we are still traveling than, I went thru that process of getting a new one while I was wintering in Florida this winter past. Bob's was new last summer so we are both good for 10 years now.
We will be in 44 different countries with 89 different ports on 5 continents and crossing all 24 time zones.
