Oh I cant wait to see this little quaint town

Tallinn is the capital of Estonia which was formerly part of Soviets before 1991. Development of this city started since 13^th century. This was one of the most important business trading place of Northern Europe in the 16^th century. Unfortunately, fate of Estonia changed hands many times in the history from Danish to Swedish to Russian Empire to Nazi Germany, and back to Soviets until 1991, when it declared its independence without any bloodshed. Since Russian Empire ruled this country for 250 years and Soviet ruled it for 50 years, there are lots of Russian influence here and there. But this is the most successful country among the former Soviet countries.

Estonia is known among some as ‘Europe’s answer to Silicon Valley’ – their economy is one of the fastest growing on the continent. As well as the economy growing at a crazy rate, so are the tourist numbers. Flanked by the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland, it’s made up of over 2,000 islands and Tallinn, the capital, is at the epicentre of it all. So once we disembarked in Tallinn’s port, we headed straight for the old town.

 Narrow streets, a medieval square and known for having one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe, you can walk there in 20 minutes. If you don't want to walk there’s a regular bus for 2 euro  that’ll take you into the center.

Tallinn will make you breathless, but you will never lose touch with the rest of the world.
 As I said earlier Tallinn is at the forefront of digital technology and you can go online almost anywhere in the hotel, library, concert halls, in the old town’s pubs, nightclubs and restaurants – even at the beach.

Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go 
and you learn at once how big and precious it is.
