Well what fun was that last night. So much fun...drank way to much wine. Oh well.
So today is our last sea day until we get to Apia Samoa which we have a tour that includes coastal villages, waterfalls, coconut cream making demonstration. A stop at beach resort to buy own drink/snack, the Robert Lewis Stevenson House and a tour of Apia town. Fruits and water are included. Yes all of this for $44.00 pp Will let you know all about it tomorrow.
Right now we are in the largest and deepest ocean, the Pacific. The area of the Pacific that we are in today is known as the Mariana Trench. The deepest point in the world, reaching a depth of 10,911 meters or 35,797 ft. Remember the movie "Abyss".? Well we are there!!! The weather is a balmy 78 degrees at 9:00am. Bob has gone down to see the cooking demo with 2 guest chefs. Tim Clark a acclaimed Pastry Chef and Chocolatier. Also Frank Garanger a French chef. Should be exciting for him. Meanwhile I am practicing for the Flash Mob. Next 6 days there will be lots of rehearsals
We have another Birthday party and dinner to go to tonight. The show tonight will be good but might have to skip it depending on what time we get out of Pollo steakhouse. We also had a few hours in the sun today. Haven't done that for awhile.
Our little feathered friend has left us. He hasn't been around in the last 2 days since Rotorua.
Ok tomorrow we are in Apia. Thanks for joining us. Leslee & Bob
